The water reflects the multitudes who need “A Flood of Healing.” It’s a long hot day, and the needs of the people are significant. Overflowing with Love and Compassion, Jesus looks at the crowd and silently begins to pray.

Mark 5:21-24 (TPT);

“After Jesus returned from across the lake, a huge crowd of people quickly gathered around Him on the shoreline.” “Just then, a man saw that it was Jesus, so he pushed through the crowd and threw himself down at His feet. His name was Jairus, a Jewish official who was in charge of the synagogue.” “He pleaded with Jesus, saying over and over, “Please come with me! My little daughter is at the point of death, and she’s only twelve years old! Come and lay your hands on her and heal her and she will live!” “Immediately Jesus went with him, and the huge crowd followed, pressing in on Him from all sides.”

Recognizing the Healer

As Jairus is following Jesus, at the same time, a woman in the crowd ignores the excruciating pain in her body and recognizes The Healer!

Mark 5:25-29 (TPT);

“Now in the crowd, that day was a woman who had suffered horribly from continual bleeding for twelve years.” “She had endured a great deal under the care of various doctors, yet despite spending all she had on their treatments, she was not getting better, but worse.” “When she heard about Jesus’ healing power, she pushed through the crowd and came up from behind Him and touched His Prayer Shawl.” “For she kept saying to herself, “If only I could touch His Clothes, I know I will be healed.” “As soon as her hand touched Him, her bleeding immediately stopped! She knew it, for she could feel her body instantly being healed of her disease!”

Who Touched My Clothes?

As her fingers barely touch His Prayer Shawl, “A Flood of Healing” flows through Jesus, and He knows it!

Mark 5:30-32 (TPT);

“Jesus knew at once that someone had touched Him, for He felt the Power that Always surged around Him had passed through Him for someone to be healed. He turned and spoke to the crowd, saying,” “Who touched my clothes?”

Relentless Faith

Relentless faith does not go unnoticed in The Kingdom of Heaven!

Mark 5:31-33 (TPT);

“His disciples answered, “what do you mean, who touched you?  Look at this huge crowd—they’re all pressing up against you.” But Jesus’ eyes swept across the crowd, looking for the one who had touched Him for healing.” “When the woman who experienced this miracle realized what had happened to her, she came before Him, trembling with fear, and threw herself down at His feet, saying, “I was the one who touched you.” And she told Him her story of what had just happened.”

Dare to Believe!

Mark 5:34 (TPT);

“Then Jesus said to her, “Daughter because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering!”

Faith to believe in The Living God will always bring healing! In Mark 5, we see the faith of a prominent Jewish leader and a desperate woman open the door for “A Flood of Healing” to flow into their seemingly impossible situations.

A Key Component of Faith

We must always remember that a key component of faith is to reject fear and to keep on believing.

Mark 5:35-36 (TPT);

“And before He had finished speaking, people arrived from Jairus’ house and pushed through the crowd to give Jairus the news; “There’s no need to trouble the master any longer—your daughter has died.” “But Jesus refused to listen to what they were told and said to the Jewish official, “Don’t yield to fear. All you need to do is to keep on believing.”

Raised From the Dead

Mark 5:41-43 (TPT);

“He tenderly clasped the child’s hand in His and said to her in Aramaic, “Talitha koum, which means, “Little girl, wake up from the sleep of death.” “Instantly, the twelve-year old girl sat up, stood to her feet, and started walking around the room! Everyone was overcome with astonishment in seeing this miracle!” “Jesus had them bring her something to eat. And He repeatedly cautioned them that they were to tell no one about what had happened.”

Friend, as you and I grasp the depth of what The Lord is sharing with us through the faith of these two individuals, we will learn how to walk in “A Flood of Healing!”

What is “A Flood of Healing?”

Merriam Webster Dictionary:

FLOOD = A rising and overflowing of a body of water, especially onto normally dry land.

                    A condition of overflowing.

HEALING = To restore to original purity or integrity. // Healed of sin.

                         To become free from injury or disease to return to a sound state.

The following is my definition of, “A Flood of Healing”:

“It is the Faith and Grace to receive from God an overflow of “a sound state” of complete well-being into our lives. Fully equipped, we dispense that same healing overflow to others simultaneously!” To God Be The Glory!

How do we walk in Healing?”

John 7:38 (TPT);

“Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!”

One of the most important Biblical truths that you and I must embrace, my friend, is that:

Revelation Brings Healing!

The Revelation of Jesus Christ brings faith for “A Flood Of Healing” to come into our lives, Spirit, soul, and body. Jairus and the woman with an “issue of blood” had a revelation of Jesus Christ as Healer! So they were able to receive the healing that was available to them through the ministry of Jesus. Today, this “Healing Revelation” continues to bring “Spiritual Sight” to the “Spiritually Blind.” He empowers us to know Him as our Lord and Savior. Now we can receive from Him as our Healer and Redeemer! As this happens, “Rivers of living water will burst out from within us,” through the Power of The Holy Spirit! (Healing Scriptures)

Resurrection Power Lives In You!

Romans 8:10-11 (TPT);

“Now Christ lives His Life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, His Life-Giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God.” “Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, He will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!”

Never give up because The Giver of The Breathe of Life lives in you! Healing is a privilege and a right for us as Children of God. One that we didn’t earn, so we can trust Him with our heart.

God’s Heart for Us Is Healing

Healing reveals the Heart of God FOR us! The Holy Spirit reveals to us that we no longer have to “Touch Jesus’ Prayer Shawl” for our healing. This is Good News, my friend because Jesus Christ no longer has to pass us by with Healing Power. As Born Again Believers in Jesus Christ, HE NOW LIVES WITHIN US WITH HIS HEALING POWER! We have been “Awakened from the sleep of death!

 Because we are fully awake, we must ask ourselves these essential questions:

1. Will we activate our faith to receive healing for our lives?

1st Peter 2:24 (TPT);

“He Himself carried our sins in His Body on the cross so that we would be dead to sin and live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from His wounding.”

2. Are we willing to reach those that are waiting on the shoreline of our lives for “A Flood of Healing?”

Luke 9:2 (MEV);

“And He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”

Isaiah 61:1 (AMPC);

“The Spirit of The Lord God is upon me because The Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach The gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.”
